Textured Gradient

I love most new nail polish and nail art trends that come along. I loved crackle polish and still do lol! I love the fish egg manis, adding all the rhinestones, the little metal nail appliques, and sweater nails!!! I love it all and even own the stuff to do those things lol but I just never get around to trying them out! So when a new trend already comes in a bottle I love it even more!
Textured polish is all around right now and I loooooove it so much! It's pretty and feels cool and it's something fun and different. I already own plenty of textured polishes and love that each brand has different types of texture!

These pictures are of OPI's Liquid Sand polishes. You can see how gritty they look but not too much from my photos. Anyway I did this gradient in 2 colors that I don't really like in general lol! Brown just isn't pretty to me and I just don't like gold much but they looked good together in this gradient.

I love the gradient and texture and just how fast and easy this mani was but it just isn't bright enough for me. I love color! I plan on doing more texture gradients and using these polishes in other designs soon!
I'll also make them colorful!!!!

Minion Nails

Hello!! :) I recently went to watch Despicable Me 2 and loved it! My favorite are the cute little minions in the movie. They talk funny and just do silly stuff so what's not to like!
Ever since seeing the first movie I've wanted to do minion nails! I've finally gotten around to it and I added googly eyes!!!

In the second Despicable Me movie the minions end up turning purple so I decided to add a few! I love the yellow ones best but purple minions are cute too! I had only planned to paint yellow minions when my mom gave me the idea to add some purple ones so they all ended up on one hand.

I stuck the googly eyes on with silver polish hoping that it would squish out around the sides for the minion goggles but it didn't work out as planned lol!

Either way all the minions turned out cute! Especially with the left over googly eyes from one of last years Halloween Eye See You design.

Neon Swirl

Nail art inspiration is slowly returning!
I'm finally getting around to getting some of the stuff I've been trying out posted again and today's post is one of them.

I recently wanted to try something different and decided on doing this sort of marbling thing I've seen around. I liked it cause it wasn't as messy as water marbling and you just get a different effect. It was also pretty easy to do!

I just painted my nails white and added drops of neon polish while it was still wet. Then with a toothpick I swirled the colors together. I love the concept of it and even all the color combinations possible. I'm sure with some practice that I can get some sort of design going and make it look somewhat neater so I'm excited to try it out again! I did have to let them dry for a long while before even trying to put on topcoat but it wasn't a big deal.

The yellow in my photos aren't coming up as neon as they really are but its okay :)
