Fall Water Marble Nails

Hi! It's Thanksgiving today and I wanted to show you another fall themed design :)
I did a subtle water marble. From far away it just looked like a dark polish but up close and in the light it was gorgeous! My pictures couldn't do it justice but I tried!

The above photo was taken indoors. You can see the water marble design and the two separate colors but it just doesn't capture the shine of the bronze polish.

This picture was taken in sunlight and you can see the water marble somewhat better. I still think that it looked way better in person but I couldn't not post these nails!
I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving if you're celebrating today or a great day if you're not! :)

Feels like Fall

Hello!! I have a fall themed nail design to show you today! Since it finally feels like Fall here I'm excited to start getting some use out of my darker polishes.
For these nails I started out with a dark burgundy base and lightly sponged a bronze polish on the tips. Then I used a copper polish to stamp on some leaves and pumpkins. After letting it all dry I added a matte topcoat and I was done!

It was a fairly fast design to do! I usually wouldn't like these colors on me but I think they all looked so nice together that I didn't mind.

China Glaze Textured Nails

Hi There!!! I have one last old post for you today :)
In a previous post I talked about loving textured polish and how each brand had a different sort of texture. Well today I want to show you China Glaze's textured polish! I didn't do a gradient or any
stamping on these nails, I just wore them plain and bright!

The texture of these polishes felt grittier and rougher than others I've tried. You can really see the texture in the pictures I took. I tried to get them as clear and sharp as I could so you could get a good look.
I love that China Glaze went with bright colors and no sparkle for their Texture Collection. Like other texture polishes  these dried pretty fast and I only needed 2 coats for both colors I used. They didn't chip quickly either or get dirty as I've heard some people say.

Overall I love how bright the China Glaze texture polishes are and that they're the most textured ones I own!

Purple Textured Gradient

Hello! Today I have another old post for you. I did a textured gradient using Zoya's Pixiedust polishes. I was so excited when I had a chance to buy these polishes because they were the only textured polishes that I hadn't had a chance to try. Right when they were delivered I couldn't help trying some out!
I love them! They have a pretty sparkle and the texture just feels cool. Plus they're easy to work with.

I picked out my colors and just painted them on a sponge and then just sponged the color onto my nails. I did 3 thin coats of that and got full opacity.

My photos look a bit like the colors are faded :/
In person the colors were all rich and sparkly. I have to say that I love these textured polishes a bit more than the other brands I've tried. They're just great to work with.

I hope you enjoyed this post even though it was a few months late in being posted :)

Instagram Inspired Ombre

Hi :) I have a few older posts that I never got around to posting before October and I'd like to show you one of them today!
Do you have Instagram? A while back I saw a photo that Nail It! Magazine posted on Instagram (Click to see photo) of some nail wraps from Dashing Diva. One of the designs looked so pretty that I wanted to try it out myself! I just loved the color combination, it's not something I would have thought to try myself.

I tried to pick my colors to match as close to the photo as possible. I did my usual of starting with a white base. I then sponged on neon yellow, neon pink, and a neon purple (that was more on the reddish purple side) onto my nails. I did that about 4 times till all colors were opaque.

I liked how the yellow just stood out but also blended in and looked nice with the pink and purple. It really makes me want to try doing an ombre with other colors that I normally wouldn't put together.
