Colorful Randomness

Hey There!!
I have a design that I've done many times before to show you today. I've done some posts on this style before here, here, and here. I've always loved how fun it is to do and that it never looks the same. I'd consider this design to be my first nail art! Ever since learning how to do it from my big sister I've never gotten tired of it.

When I decided to do these nails I already had my nails painted white, so I just used whatever polishes I had lying close by to add these colorful stripes. I just randomly painted on stripes till I felt like each nail looked pretty. Once it all dried I added topcoat.

It's quick, easy and one of my all time favorite designs to do whenever I have no idea what else to do. For me doing these random stripes never gets old because I can always change up the base colors and stripe colors. It's just fun!

Thank you for checking out this post! :)

Color Run Nails 2014

Hello!!! I have a fun post for you today! Last year, I did The Color Run 5k with my little brother and I did colorful splatter nails for it. Yesterday we did The Color Run again and I wanted to share the nails I did for it this year!

For these nails I randomly sponged on different bright colors. I went over all colors about 3 times. When they were dry I added a stamp of a triangle pattern. I really think they turned out awesome!

I got the idea for this design from all the banners and ads on The Color Run's Facebook. It had the different colored powders being tossed in the air with a light triangle print over it. This years Color Run was also called the Kaleidoscope Tour and the bags we got had a multi colored triangle print on one side. I thought it all looked cool and decided to try it out on my nails! Since I had been planning to do these nails for a while now and was excited when it was finally time. I think I got lucky that the theme inspired my design and it all turned out being cool!

Valentine's Day Water Marble

Happy Valentine's Day!!
I have a Valentine's themed water marble to share with you today :)
Since I've started getting a better hang of water marbling and I like pink, I thought these nails would be cute.

I picked out 3 different pinks that I thought looked nice together. I painted my nails with a really light pink before doing all the usual water marble steps.

When I was one with all 10 nails I added a clear shimmery polish as a topcoat.

I love how the water marble turned out! But! I had some heart shaped studs and rhinestones and decided to add some.

On my left hand I added pink and red heart studs to one nail. I love it!!

Then on the right hand I added on heart shaped rhinestone to each nail. These turned out cute too!
I love how the nails looked before and after I added the hearts! They're just pretty :)
I hope you liked this post and have a great day!

What Started It All

Hi :) Today I want to show you the nails that inspired me to start this blog!
I've always liked nail polish and seeing my big sister paint her nails. I learned one of my first and favorite designs from her! When I finally started painting my nails I was always wondering if I could do more than the few designs I knew. I basically just wanted a bunch of colors on my nails at once lol!

One day I was just messing around with striping polishes and did the simplest design ever I thought 'Hey I should take pictured of these and save them.' I don't think I ever did take that picture but I've always remembered them as giving me the idea to do something. So I'd like to show you the nails that started this blog!

I redid them in the exact same colors I used except for the glitter! I painted my nails white and painted on a few diagonal stripes with striping polishes. It was the easiest design I ever did. I'm not sure why these nails made me think of taking pictures and saving them, but I'm happy they did because a week later I had a blog!
