Ocean Wave Water Marble

Hello!! I have yet another water marble to show you! On Thursday I decided to do my nails because I was going to the Bubble Run today and I wanted to have cool nails. I wasn't too sure of what to do at first so I asked my little brother to give me an idea and he said blue and water marble. Since I've been doing a lot of water marble already I decided to try doing a different design in the water.

I tried making swirls! It was a bit hard and took some extra time. I didn't get very good swirls but whatever I did turned out looking cool! I think my nails ended up looking like waves!!! I really love them! :) Even though they looked cool I still had to add a little bit of sparkle cause why not!

St. Patrick's Day Water Marble

It's St. Patrick's Day! I'm not Irish and I don't drink but any excuse for themed nails in one of my favorite colors and I'm all for it! I did a St. Patrick's water marble my first year of blogging here. Since I wasn't sure of what to do this year I decided to make a better St. Patrick's Day water marble. Luckily it turned out lots prettier this year!

I started out by painting my nails with a light green color as the base and let that dry a bit while I picked out the colors I wanted to use for the water marble. Once I had everything set up I did the water marble on four nails. I tried my best to get a little clover shape on all my nails. Since I didn't want all the nails to be water marbled I decided to add an accent nail. I did a white to green sponge gradient as the base. Once it dried I added the end of a rainbow going into a pot of gold!

I love these nails a whole lot!! I was so excited when they turned out the way I planned. I especially love the cute accent nail!

Matte Chevron Nails

Hello! I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before but I have an Instagram for my nails that I've started posting my nail art on. I like following all kinds of cool nail related accounts and I especially love scrolling through all the creative nail art! It's fun and I love seeing all the different styles out there. I was recently looking around and saw these gorgeous nails by Decorated Digits (click to view photo). I was totally inspired by her nails and I just had to try them out!

I had just got my order of Nail Vinyls and was excited to try them out and try out the Decorated Digits design. I didn't follow her design exactly because I wanted more of the red glitter polish to show. I also used two different types of chevron stickers.

I started out by painting my nails with 2 coats of a burgundy red glitter polish. Once that was fully dry I arranged the Nail Vinyls in the designs I wanted. I went over everything with a black polish and then before it dried I peeled off the stickers. Finally after letting it all dry a bit I added a matte topcoat. The end result is super pretty! I love how the red looked with matte topcoat!

Pastel Pink Water Marble

Hello! I have a post that's been pushed back too many times! I did these nails back in January and have yet to post these water marble nails. I'm sure you can tell I've been liking water marble lately. Since I've found that using a smaller cup makes the process way easier and faster, I've been wanting to water marble everything!!!

So these nails happened by accident. I had bought OPI Mod About You and painted my nails and decided that I wanted to add something. I had water marble stuff nearby and three polishes I thought looked nice together, so I just tried it out.

Please excuse my short thumb nail :(

I used a shimmery light pink, a duochrome light blue, and a shimmery light gray. The blue polish over Mod About You turned a sort of blue gray and I sorta lost the light gray color somewhere in there. I imagine all the colors would have looked nice over a white base but I still loved this water marble :)

It was just a pretty, soft look that I'm not normally into but I really liked it!
I hope you liked this post even though it's a month late!
